Ery Prasadja was in the circle of academia most of his career. He was a lecturer, a dean of students, and an academic director for bible schools and theological institutes. He also worked as a program manager with a US-based Christian NGO to assist unfortunate children in Indonesia to having a better holistic future. His love for the church led him not only to serve as a resource person in his home church, but also to pastor two in-cultural-transition churches.
When he was younger, he was integrally involved in the National Prayer Movement, a contributor for Scripture Union, as well as a hospital chaplain. His undergraduate was completed in Bogor Agricultural Institute. Through the generosity of many individuals and institutions, he was given the opportunities to pursue graduate studies in Chicago, Munich, Oxford and Vancouver.
Ery and his wife Esther are blessed with three children (Keiko, Elliott and Kiefer) and are thankful for a new season of life and ministry in Calgary. The Prasadjas have been praying for a positive contribution in serving the city, and in particular the Indonesian community in Calgary.
